We are excited to announce some exciting new changes to our existing youth summer programs at Viles Arboretum!
The past two years we have received an incredible response to our Young Stewards Camp. We have all had so much fun spending time catching turtles and frogs at Viles Pond, making new foods in our commercial kitchen and using our imaginations to create nature-themed arts and crafts. As some of our campers have started to age out of our Young Stewards program we have frequently been asked; "when are you going to expand to new age groups?" So we got to work and created the newest addition to our summer day program, the Environmental Leaders Program. This new program will create age-appropriate opportunities for youth from ages 11 to 14 by taking the same fun, exploration based model of our Young Stewards Camp and adding new activities and challenges for the older age group.
In addition to expanding opportunities to new age groups, we will extending summer youth programs from three to four weeks;

July 24th - July 28th
July 31st - August 4th
The price of camp is calculated using a sliding scale income-based model. What you pay for camp is adjusted based on household income. The price breakdown is as follows:
